Monday, March 9, 2009. Adios nasty tree. I was impressed by how high the brush collection pile got. These city guys don't mess around. We had a chance to clean up the yard now that all the tree bits were gone. We also planted a little line of rosemary and some grasses to block Barley's *** zone. Ian also bought some buffalo grass seeds, so that will be our next project. He's ready to plant them now but I'm thinking we should wait until we're back from vacation since we'll have to water them daily. Bob an...

Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Hey, here is a picture/map to where the Mayfield Park and Cottage is located. As you can see, it is just west of Mopac, at the 35th street exit. It's really close to Laguna Gloria - a branch of the Austin Museum of Art. Also my grandfather pointed out that the cobbled grounds may be hazardous for ladies with high heels since it's not the most level surface. so just fyi. My friend Jenna just said that they found something at the Summerfield Suites - 7685 Northcross Dr.

Sunday, August 31, 2008. Time for a margarita on the patio. Our patio is finally finished. We started adding flagstone about 2 weekends ago and Ian put on the finishing touches last night. We still need some rain to help pack down the crushed granite, but for now, we are done. Weekend 1: after digging out the area, we got the rock and crushed granite and began putting the puzzle together. Weekend 2: actually leveling and filling in around the rocks. Friday, May 20, 2011. I can't believe that my second-to-most-recent post was about Eli's second tooth. Now he's on his 13th and 14th. I received some razz from facebook about knowing exactly how many teeth he has, but I am a woman of facts, and people always ask me! I know that he HAD 12, and now he is getting the molars right next to the "fang" teeth. The incisors. At the exact same time. I also know that he needs to have 20 by the time he's 3.
