The University of Illinois at Chicago is one of only eight sites funded by several divisions within the National Institutes of Health to study racial disparities in health over the next five years. Our program, the UIC Center for Population Health and Health Disparities (CPPHD), receives support from the National Cancer Institute and has been in operation since the fall of 2003.
