Thursday, March 26, 2009. Friday, March 20, 2009. Oh what a beautiful morning. I can't believe I finally got my snow video up and now its spring already. My how time flies! Yes, I was working out, just not that kind of running). The wild cats are back and fighting with each other as of about a day after the birds and spider's return. People are more pleasant on the phone. I remember that when I got here in July that they had the BIGGEST SPIDERS I'd ever seen outside of a zoo or museum.

Saturday, July 26, 2008. FINALS WEEK (14-19 Jul). Wow – what a week! It started off pretty good - I had just had my final TMO pickup and sold my car so I was walking around base, quite content to having no keychain to worry about loosing, and really the only thing that I had to actually do is show up… by Monday evening I’d finished two of my finals, one I felt I ace’d and the other I felt I bombed! Perjantai 6. tammikuuta 2017. Niin vain loppiaisen pakkanen päätti paukkua oikein olan takaa. Poikani antama amaryllis puhkesi pikkuhiljaa kukkaan vuoden vaihduttua. Päätin heittää terassin lämmittimen päälle, jotta opuntiat eivät heitä henkeään. Ulkona -16,4, terassilla -2,6 astetta (säädetty -5 asteeseen, ei mennyt yölläkään alle 3 asteen, vaikka mittari käväisi -17,7 asteessa). Kotona sää muuttui talviseksi ja oli kuin postikortista. Mutta mökille päästessäni sisällä oli -8,6 ja ulkona -17 astetta.
