indietutes: dump bike v.4.5
http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2015/07/dump-bike-v45.html
Dump bike v.4.5. Actually, I don't know if this is version four, or maybe five, six? But anyway, it's a new bike made from parts of old bikes. A Frankenstein's monster of a bicycle. Not too bad, hey? One of the fun things about The Man is that he refuses to buy stuff. Food is okay, and paying for education and experiences is good, but stuff? Not so much. But that doesn't mean we don't have a lot of stuff. Ho no. A functioning bike is all the childs have required thus far. They aren't immune to yearni...
indietutes: happy bum pants from sleeves
http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2008/06/happy-bum-pants-from-sleeves.html
Happy bum pants from sleeves. A quick pair of pants to make for baby or toddler using the sleeves of a long sleeve tee shirt. The bum panel allows extra room for the diaper bum, and can be made even roomier for the cloth diaper set. Begin with measuring the wee one from ankle to waist. Add 2” to this measurement for the pant’s waistband. Measure from ankle to crotch. Add ¼” to this measurement for a seam allowance. Measure waist. Subtract 3” for waistband elastic. Use the cut wonky wedge as a guide to cu...

Click here to download Solar Dress ePattern. Print the Solar Dress pattern at a 1:1 scale (or 'no scaling') for correct size. Assembling the Pattern Puzzle. To beg...

indietutes: all the things
http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2015/04/all-things.html
One of the great things about homeschooling is choosing what and how many out of house things to do. Girl child chooses all the things, all the time. It's funny, she wonders why she is so tired at night. I dunno, I say, maybe it's because we are either swimming, skating, climbing, rehearsing or performing every darn day and when you aren't doing that, you are jumping on the trampoline with your friends? And then you stay up late reading every night? Oh, the boy? Well, I've recently forced him into a sing...

http://pameladempseydesigns.blogspot.com/2008/10/autumn-flapper.html
Handmade Clothing and Accessories from infant thru adult. Wednesday, October 15, 2008. This hat was derived from a beach hat pattern. I just omitted a few rows to create a Flapper style hat and then accented it with my double crocheted flowers. The hat is done in a beautiful shade of Autumn orange and accented with brown. Ooh, I really like that! All your flowers are gorgeous! January 16, 2009 at 10:13 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Stoughton, MA, United States. View my complete profile.

Life, food and everything: November 2013
http://lifefoodandeverything.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Life, food and everything. My opinion on life, restaurants and anything else I care to comment about, but mostly it's about the food! Saturday, 30 November 2013. Lemon and lime squash and my home-grown redcurrants. I made home-made lemon and lime squash to use up some fruit which we'd bought for juicing and which hadn't got used. I can't find the recipe I used, but it's very similar to one used by Hugh of River Cottage (see below). Http:/ www.rivercottage.net/recipes/lemon-orange-squash/. It's not all to...

Life, food and everything. My opinion on life, restaurants and anything else I care to comment about, but mostly it's about the food! Sunday, 19 January 2014. Granny square baby blanket in blue. I have been working pretty long hours recently as there has been a lot of staffing changes in the department. I tend to feel the need to get creative under such circumstances and have been quite busy lately with crochet baby blankets and some homemade cards. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sew Crafty Girl: It's my most favourite time of the year!
http://sewcraftygirl.blogspot.com/2014/06/its-my-most-favourite-time-of-year.html
Friday, June 20, 2014. It's my most favourite time of the year! The sun is shining. things are growing and there's food ripe for the picking and preserving. Ah, summer is nearly here and I'm in heaven. I'm in awe of how much our garden changes from week to week. At first, it wasn't much to look at. With some weeding and 1 cubic yeard of dirt, we got it planted. Remember how it looked on May 7? Here are the first sprouts on May 11. Ooh radishes are ready May 30! Ooh boy there are lots of greens to be had!

Made the girl a little top. Put a spider on it. I'm tickled with my spider web appliqué. I shall have to revisit this again in the near future. The spider is machine sewn. The web is pieced together with pin tucks. Spider web in process:. Back to the girl this morning:. This was moments before she broke the tea saucer. My girl is a delicate flower. Except when she's not. The embroidery on the shirt says, Part Girl, Part Wolf Spider. Then I listed the doll on Etsy. Check it out. Links to this post. The cr...
