Los Passcodes son códigos canjeables, que recompensan con algo de AP, XM, y combinación de Resonadores, Armas y Media. Estos códigos tienen un máximo numero de usos, por lo que expiran (FR - Fully Redeemed). Publica en sus posts puzzles, los cuales una vez descifrados muestran un código a canjear. Hay paginas que se dedican a redifundir estos códigos, por ejemplo por tweeter.

Escudos, que sirven para subir la defensa de un Portal, es el unico mod que no sufre de penalización al desplegar varios del mismo tipo. Very Rare: Mitigación 60. Axa Shield: Mitigación 70. Aumenta el daño que recibe el jugador de la facción opositora al atacar o hackear un Portal. El primer Force Amp desplegado lo aumenta en un 100%, el segundo un 50%, el tercero y cuarto un 25%.
