Fisihng (can be arranged at the castle, or just free fishing from the smaller lochs). Tennis (there is an amazing surreal tennis court in an idyllic situation which you will pass as you drive down the peninsular). Scarista House for a memorable evening meal in an old Manse. Soon Art Cafe for the best chocolate brownies on a rainy day. Boat trip to St. Kilda.

Just outside the city walls across the main square is the very active fishing port, with boats being made and laughing crews arriving with their days catch. Next to the port are barbeque grills where you can have freshly caught seafood cooked for you immediately. We love walking to the port at sunset, watching the boats come in.
