A perspective of life on the road. To continue where I left off on my last post. When we finished unloading Herb was able to make a Y turn (although he had to nearly jack-knife the truck to do it) and got turned around to leave the job site. Some of the other drivers didn't appreciate having to back up or detour into parking spaces to allow us to leave. We swarmed the Petro Truck stop with a sqaud of eleven. The three of us and they with their six kids! Catching up since the New Year! We arrived early on...

A perspective of life on the road. First off Thanks to my Ghost Writer! I have been away too long. This last few weeks have been crazy busy,. We picked Kaitlynn up from Grandma and Grandpa's and headed out. Now that we are running as a team, Herb drives mostly during the day and I drive at night which leaves very little computer time. A perspective of life on the road. Hi I'm a ghost writer for Rita. Rita and Herb are very busy. running all around the U.S. and taking as many loads as they can. They are so busy even I don't know where they are right now. Sounds like Herb is driving during the day and Rita drives over night. A perspective of life on the road. After hitting the beach we were dispatched to the Chicago area, for a Monday delivery so we decided to take advantage of the routing and pay a visit to our sons. First stop was to visit Cody in Michigan on Saturday. We picked him up and had lunch then went to the local park to hang out and enjoy the mild weather, a welcome change after all the hot humid days in the Southeastern part of the US. Afterwards we headed on over to Lake Station/Merrillville IN. A lot of waves.

A New life in Central PA! The view out my PA window. Don't let the sunshine fool you, its freezing! I awoke to -2 this morning! Now it is 12:30 and only 13. We had a great Christmas in our new home. The daughter and her hubby came down the day after Christmas and stayed till Sunday. Then The in-laws came New Years day and stayed for two days. The Christmas tree looked so pretty in the livingroom and fit so nicely, now that its gone it looks bare and the room looks so big! How was everyone's Christmas?
