Warm and cosy on our special corner of the beach. 17 degrees in the water. Could be a lot worse. Magical sunset over Manly. May 23, 2014. It’s fabulous weather these days (26 today) and we’ve been to the beach every day after school these past 3 days. And tonight we went to the rock pool by the Bower too and witnessed first hand this spectacular sunset. May 15, 2014.

It’s been on my mind for so long but I could never really allow myself the time to do it. And today I finally did it! I walked to the blue dot from the red dot on the map, passing 5 beaches on my way there: Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Dee Why and Collaroy. Freshwater beach and the houses clinging to the rock.
