Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Thank You Dr Dortin! I was incredibly impressed by this - as no other doctor has ever done this before that I have seen. He spent an hour explaining things and going over what he wanted to do. Instead of repeating tests that previous doctors kept doing he ordered two tests I'd never had before. One test was a lung test in nuclear medicine where I had to inhale this gas called Xenon through a mask while a machine imaged my lungs from every angle - 360 degrees! I LOVE THIS DOCTOR!

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. How Can One Person Have So Many Medical Issues? Are masses of tumor like fatty tissue compressing the nerves and narrowing the Thecal Sac. This is causing painful back pain, leg pain, and unfortunately weakness. The main treatment for this is spinal surgery - something I can't have due to my paralyzed diaphragm and liver failure. I see the neuro muscular doctor again on Tuesday May 21st, and then a spinal surgeon/specialist upon referral. May 16, 2012 at 3:22 PM. IWY 2 3 :).

After you read what I'm about to tell you, you're probably going to think I'm nuts. I assure you, I am only slightly nuts! I remember emptying some of the water and sitting on the bucket and peeing. I also remember that after I was done, it had spilled over. I took that to mean that if I didn't wake up quick, I was going to wet my bed. I thank you, my special dreams.

It's one of THOSE foods that I never eat because it causes so much pain and cramping that it's just not worth it to me. Well, I roasted two ears this past weekend and when I took the first bite, I closed my eyes, and just smiled. It tasted so good. I'm talking good people! The really sad and awful part?

I'm not going to list all the lame excuses that people do. I simply haven't felt like it. I have told you before that I usually have surgery every 3 years or so. This time I made it 4 years. Yesterday, my little brother was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Lately, he has been having all the symptoms, abdominal pain etc and the doctors wanted to do the tests because of my history with Crohn's. I told my mom that it probably isn't, that he is in the wrong age range, it's probably something else. I hate that I feel this way. Am I an awful person?

The adventures of us! Thursday, December 22, 2011. Merry Christmas and SomeThings That Made Me Happy Since I Last Blogged. Before my happy things a quickish update on our life. I think I am starting to do a little bit better and have completely embraced foster care adoption. There are so many children from infants to older children who need love and I know that my kids are waiting for me and I want nothing more than to find them and start giving them the life they deserve.
