Dianne's Dilemmas: March 2010
http://diannesdilemmas.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 26, 2010. Shouldn't have said that. I have a very good friend. We have been best friends for 30 years. She is one of those people you can tell anything to. She has been on a new diet and when I saw her the other day for the first time in a week I commented on how I thought she looked like she lost weight. "Really? She asked with a smile. "yes" I replied. "Your boobs now stick out farther than your stomach". So next time I will tell my friend that she looks great and leave it at that. Here a...

Dianne's Dilemmas: Kitchen or no Kitchen?
http://diannesdilemmas.blogspot.com/2010/05/kitchen-or-no-kitchen.html
Thursday, May 6, 2010. Kitchen or no Kitchen? I have been busy keeping myself busy these days designing our new home. I designed the one we live in now and still love it 23 years later so I am hoping that I will have that much success this time. Where the house we live in now has been great for raising our four daughters I'm thinking that the new one needs to fit our needs and life style now. What if I count out the dinning room and just admit to the world that we eat in front of the tv? I have spent the...

Dianne's Dilemmas: February 2010
http://diannesdilemmas.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. My sister is coming to visit this weekend. I find sister time to be more and more special the older I get. I'm sure there will be times of laughter and tears, like there usually is. My mother in her old age often talks about her sisters and mother and yet she can't remember her own children. It reminds me just how important sister times are. Because she has a wonderful laugh. Without laughter life would be a very sad place. When I was a child my grandfather use to pray at eve...

What isn’t okay is settling with that mess, or not giving every piece of energy you have to clean up a fight that’s in the way of loving each other. Perfect “Prince Charming”. Now, I’m not. Saying that in any way we should settle for man who is anyone less than someone who fights to protect, provide, cherish, and care for us. What I am. There are certain expectation...

So Glad I Didn’t Die | Modern Grandmas
https://moderngrandmas.wordpress.com/2011/01/24/so-glad-i-didnt-die
So Glad I Didn’t Die. January 24, 2011. This may seem like a strange thing to say but… I am so happy I didn’t die yesterday. Let me try to explain. Before I head to the store each week, I try to take inventory of my fridge. I toss the spoiled meat I never got around to cooking. I always have such great plans when I’m in the store. I also wipe up the Kool-Aid spill that everyone is pretending they haven’t noticed all week. Remember that top shelf that I can’t reach? This is what he found up there…. Becaus...
