If imagination could maintain it. the writings of jessica wroblewski. Poems, short stories and other writings. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. If Imagination Could Maintain It. If imagination could maintain it, it would be me, ankle deep in cool sand, surrounded by the smell of heat, the smell of seaweed, the dead fish buoyed barely beneath the water beside me. If imagination could maintain it, I would want you here, to carry my kids with you, in your tan car, with tan seats, that certain smell ( as i'm the las...

If imagination could maintain it. the writings of jessica wroblewski. Poems, short stories and other writings. Wednesday, May 16, 2007. It took a mile of mutilation. It took a mile of mutilation. To master getting past, getting over you. And I saw your kids today. Furthermore a progress in a vision of distance. Pacing fast, with busy hands. Laughing like you’d miss it. And I could say I never knew you well. How I miss your presence. Those clouds you carried. The nicotine smell of your entrance.

If imagination could maintain it. the writings of jessica wroblewski. Poems, short stories and other writings. Friday, May 25, 2007. I was nearly built around here. I was built around here. Around this place of backward state, upside down on the swings. Around this fake taste of nature on the air, these nicely spaced trees. (To judge the distance, the distance in me). As I was nearly built around here. The gasping sort of sun filled flowers of my broken industrial landscape. The things they were promised).

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack: June 2007

http://graceboydpollack.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack. Monday, June 25, 2007. The drive home from work was quiet and she knew she’d have the house to herself for a little while before he came home. Work had been a mob scene, no real surprise there, but the frustration always fed the anger. Anger with him, anger with the world. Maybe some anger with herself. But the quiet and the promised alone-time gradually cooled the heat inside her skull. No, of course not. Why was the door unlocked? She couldn’t reme...

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack: Bringing Back the Dead

http://graceboydpollack.blogspot.com/2007/05/bringing-back-dead.html

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Bringing Back the Dead. I stood in the middle of the kitchen floor and counted my breaths. The sun through the window was warm on the side of my face but the laminate tile under my toes chilled my skin. I listened to the house creak sleepily and shift with the passage of insects in the ground beneath its foundations, as if it had an itch it couldn’t quite reach to scratch. The stool never moved. I turned so slow that when I finally ...

http://graceboydpollack.blogspot.com/2007/05/753.html

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Purple sky smells of peachy shadow. With a show of storm. Running vibration in my bones. Standing my skin in pinpricks. With ozone sinking on the air. And the ripples on the pond. Slide in sequence to lap the bottoms of my feet. To send my veins rushing. And the flash behind my eyelids flames the sky. The trees rustle and groan. With the weight of restless wind. Complaining in the rumble of the earth. June 11, 2007 at 7:57 AM.

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack. Monday, September 3, 2007. Simple moments kept in time. By the swaying of tree limbs. Blinking clouds behind the sun. And I see you there…. See you looking with your soft eyes,. Golden in dappled shadow. I like to watch the movement of the earth as it swings its axis beneath our ankle bones. Smoothly rocking the world in slumber. And the changing of leaves. Leaves me wondering…. Waiting for the moment when the grass beneath our feet turns brown,.

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Wrapping round my fingertips. Up the veins in my arms. Coating my nails in dreamy slickness. Slippery melodies sung breathless. Rushing over my shoulders. In waves wound golden. Flowing down my chest,. Into the ground…. Sneaking up the curve of my neck,. To push its way. Resting cool between my molars. Stretching fingers up the back. Tingling in my sinuses. Reaching for the nerves behind my retinas,. Expanding into my skull,.

Singsong Conversations, the works of G. Pollack. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Inspirational Organics (Whitman Poem). Organically speaking, of course, I tell you my secrets. Lying by the riverside with the sun on my skin. Twirling fingers through water twisting daintily between smooth stones,. On its way to the sea. I take the world to my heart and breathe you in. Your essence binds me,. Holds me to myself,. As I rush recklessly on toward new ideas. Inhaling the woodsy scent of your thoughts.

Posted on Friday, May 28th, 2010 under Uncategorized. Yes, I’m channeling Yo Gabba Gabba. It’s actually very fitting for my last day at work. Posted on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 under Uncategorized. My sweet neighbor called on Thursday and asked if we wanted to participate in a yard sale with her on Saturday. It was short notice, but we knew we had a ton of stuff that we didn’t need to be hauling halfway across the country so we decided we were in. Jessica´s Journey to Life. Domingo, 5 de junio de 2016. Day # 300 - The fear of loosing people in my life. I am going to write about the point I see I am participating in lately that is my fear of loosing people. I like to be close to people, although I am not very social, I like to keep my circle of friends small. Horoscope says that Capricorns are very social, but not me. I have noticed my idea also of not being very very close to people to protect me from being hurt. Wellthats a short intro - lol.
