Grey Pemaquid: January 2007
http://greypemaquid.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 25, 2007. Why I love poetry. The current prompt over at Poetry Thursday. Is a greater challenge. The poets I have loved: Mary Oliver, of course. Robinson Jeffers. H.D., especially. Janet Beeler, now Janet Beeler Shaw of American Girls fame, who published one exquisite volume called. In the late 70's. William Blake. Madeleine L'Engle. Wonderful jillypoet. Whose blog led me to Poetry Thursday. And so many of the PTers I have discovered. Why are we here? What does it mean to be human?

patchwork poetry: 1st Thursday! Pony Up Your Poems!
http://patchworkpoetry.blogspot.com/2008/06/1st-thursday-pony-up-your-poems.html
Thursday, June 5, 2008. Pony Up Your Poems! Happy June, everyone! Stop by next Thursday and post the links to your newly created patchwork poems. As always, though I am, at heart, a rebel, there are a few "rules" we abide by here at patchwork poetry:. We use only FULL LINES of other people's poetry in the creation of patchwork poems. Phrases and favorite words don't count (at least not around these parts). That's why we're here. (Or, at least, that's why I started this thing.). Thanks for poeming with me!

Cheery, hair perfectly smooth. Her clothes are pressed, well detailed,. They cling to her frame. See her round. Waist, how it curves in, but not too much. Her glossy finish flashes in the light: she shines. Without any effort, you get inside her. Outer layer. Behind each ornate finish,. Solid where she was.
