Monday, November 10, 2008. I looked up Chennai, it does not look like a little town, on the contrary, it looked pretty substantial. When I googled it I went to the first site listed and it had a very good guide to the city. It seemed to me like you should be able to find whatever you need there. Are you expecting to stay for a few days, or are you moving on? Well today is my last day in Hampi. It pains me to be leaving! I keep having dreams that the baby is born! She has never been to many of the places that you have gone and she is from there! She has wanted to go do the houseboat on the backwaters, but she never gotten around to it. Monday, November 24, 2008. So I'll stick to my blog. Yesterday seemed like a "normal" day. I went to work, we went out to eat, visited Aunt Nanc, who oohed and aahed over him for a full 3 hours, watched tv, played yahtzee and went about the day like we always do. I know you longed to get to a place where you could find some peace and solitude.I hope in Varkala you found it. Will forget the email and stick to the blog from here on out. Saturday, November 12, 2011. We got Julien a great play house for his birthday and the movie Cars 2. We set up the play house in the playroom downstairs so he can play in it during the Winter months. He really loves it. It has a little kitchen inside and a telephone that makes little beep noises and even has a door bell. I will have to post some pictures of it later. It was great to see them all again. All of my grandparents have passed away so it is great Thierry has 3 still alive. His other grandfather passed away 7 months ago so at the time we moved to the Netherlands all 4 of Thierry's grandparents were still alive. I guess that means Thierry has a long life ahead of him. On the way we drove past Castellet Castle (Castellet i la Gornal). It was so beautiful we had to stop and take some pictures. Monday, January 5, 2015. Christmas Eve 2014 - December 24, 2014 in France. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve in France. We were able to spend the holiday with Thierry's family including his parents, younger sister Aline with her family Pierre and daughters Nolwen and Melissa, as well as his older sister Isabelle. We had an incredible meal including fresh raw oysters, a roasted turkey, scallops, chestnut stuffing, vegtables, and amazing cheese and wine. Very yummy. Pierre helping out in the kitchen.
