Spring days are full of optimism. Yesterday we went for a bike ride around Lake Okabena with some friends. The strain of muscles hardly used has left me a bit sore this morning, but thankful for smooth trails and a peace in my heart for where we are at this time. I have written quite openly about my struggle with depression and dark days, and there were times when I didn’t think I would be at this point–a place of light and joy and rest.
