Life on Two Acres: Spring Wreath
http://daffodilfield.blogspot.com/2014/04/spring-wreath.html
Life on Two Acres. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. I love this wreath. Made from a styrofoam form with pussywillow buds glued to the front and sides. Time consuming but easy. The buds from the branches that I bought last year were nice and plump and gave a better look. New ones were narrow and fit into tight spaces. I used tacky glue which worked well. Life on Two Acres: I Saw/I Conquered --- Rehoming a Swarm of Bees
http://daffodilfield.blogspot.com/2014/04/i-sawi-conquered-rehoming-swarm-of-bees.html
Life on Two Acres. Tuesday, April 22, 2014. I Saw/I Conquered - - Rehoming a Swarm of Bees. My husband called me over to the hive area on Saturday to alert me to some strange activity at the bee hive. I took one look and I knew; the bees were getting ready to swarm. If you are new to bee keeping a swarm is when there are too many bees in the hive and at least half of the hive leaves with the queen to find a new home. (Wikipedia) My swarm went 15 feet or so from the original hive. You are the bee-whisperer.

Life on Two Acres: The Planting of Tulips/Thinking Outside the Box
http://daffodilfield.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-planting-of-tulipsthinking-outside.html
Life on Two Acres. Monday, April 07, 2014. The Planting of Tulips/Thinking Outside the Box. Which begs why pick the bulb in the first place? I didn't listen. And was especially happy that I didn't as I tried to order bulbs for this tulip and received notice in the fall that they were not going to be available. After the first year one tulip appeared. This year two came up. I like the flower but love the striped foliage. Of course I can't remember the name of this particular variety. Follow Me on Flickr.
