Making a two axis fixture plate to run in the lathe. Bevelled for penetration, not a lot of clearance for the threaded hole that's not there yet. Slotting two at a time. Making a drilling jig. Alignment bar bolted on. Drilling for caliper pins. Tapping caliper pin holes. 1976 Eldorado park brake caliper test fit.

Saturday, April 4, 2015. J&S Safeguard pulls timing. High coolant temp makes it knock a little.Cant hear any of these, usually no activity on these. Going up hill on cruise control then lean cruise at the top on the flat. Left gage is J&S safeguard pulling timing on individual cylinders and adding it back. Sunday, June 28, 2015. P 30 master cylinder bench bleed and install. Chevrolet's 1992 P model service manual has the master cylinder bench bleeding procedure using plugs on the ports. Position the master with the front slightly down, push the piston with short 1 inch strokes until resistance and no bubbles. Then reposition with the front slightly up and push the piston until no bubbles. I made a contraption that fits in a vise to do this. Monday, June 22, 2015. P 30 master cylinder gets a sight glass.

Monday, May 4, 2015. Spare hydroboost with matching input rod. Making a spare hydroboost with a matching input rod. Cut and threaded the rod to make a matching length booster to eye dimension. Eye was made out of cold rolled round steel. Slug matches drilled hole angle and fits in the bottom of the hole that's not threaded. Load is on slug and not threads this way. Saturday, July 25, 2015. Ancient DuoTherm heat strip and dehumidify mod. Not listed to fit our aircon but it will by drilling a couple holes. All of this can be done from the bottom no need to go on the roof. Element installed, two holes need drilled and some trimming on the screen. Grainger 5Z484 relay with pigtails soldered on 120vac coil 15 amp SPDT. Any like rated relay would work. This was Ebay 10$ and will fit in the electrical box. Relay out of focus and in the box. Folded up ready to install.

Monday, June 22, 2015. P 30 master cylinder gets a sight glass. Sight glass for brake fluid level check without removing the lid. Put the top and bottom fluid holes at a 15 degree angle so they will be vertical with everything installed on the Bob Stone hydroboost. O rings seal the plate to the reservoir.
