Follow this path of curiosity. For me it is the place of creative play, fraught with uncertainty, yet rich as a ripe pomegranate. Layering of histories of information, surface, and image are aspects that remain constant throughout all my various bodies of work, as they become palimpsests of metaphor and meaning.

Brush Creek Artist Residency. From August 2 through August 16th I was a Pilot artist for the new. Residency at the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts. Brush Creek is in Wyoming, just west over the Snowy Mountains, about 20 miles east of. Saratoga, WY. While there I worked on four new water-based screen prints exploring more abstraction with my imagery. More information later on this experience.

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. During my visit to the Sault and the AGA, I also had the opportunity to visit Andrea Pinheiro from the Fine Arts Department at Algoma University. It was a quick visit to see the printshop and meet the students. I was glad to see that the large Takach press from White Mountain Academy was in good hands with Andrea! We spent the afternoon printing several of my video stills on the Epson, which will be exhibited in my upcoming exhibition at Loop Gallery. Art Gallery of Algoma.

In Saint Louis, Missouri. Was comprised of three days of functions including an exhibition at Fort Gondo Compound for the Arts, a panel discussion on making printmaking partnerships work, and two wedding ceremony performances.
