Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Our little girl is now one month older again. So, it's time for the monthly update on her development and such. Can stand without holding on to anything for a few seconds at a time. Eats solids about every other meal. Has started sleeping in her own room (we're having a trial-month). Takes her highchair for walks (she's getting so fast with it! Waves and says "he-da" (=hejdå, which means bye). Also says "titta" (look), "pappa", "mamma", "dada" and a lot of "hejhej" (hi).

Saturday, March 12, 2011. The Tree of Elliana. We planted a peach tree today, with Elliana's (mine? Placenta underneath it in the ground. So we call it "the Tree of Elliana". I've never planted a tree before, so that was fun! March 15, 2011 at 7:36 AM. Elliana sys :Daddys hair is so good! Detta är mitt träd! April 2, 2011 at 4:29 PM. You still had your placenta? Thursday, March 24, 2011. We went to dinner at Olive Tree and then we went to see Red Riding Hood at the movies since Jon got movie tickets for his birthday from work. Susan&Gary babysat Elliana, so we got a whole night by ourselves, so nice! Food was yummy, entertainment was good and company was excellent! Saturday, March 12, 2011. Can you believe it was 8 months ago Elliana was born? She is such a light in our lives. This is what she's been up to this month! Is crawling really fast. Has a lot of energy.

Denna veckan jobbade Sebbe mestadels i Strömstad (alltså väldigt mycket närmre än Spanien) så det har hunnits med pappadottermys varje dag! Morgonmys o oftast kvällsmys. Och däremellan mammamys! Det slår mig då och då "tänk att vi fick en dotter trots allt". Vi väntade ju faktiskt på en liten grabb i 5månader innan vi fick besked att det Kanske minsann var en tjej som lurar där inne! We were also told that maybe we should take it easy with the kissing and being close so I wouldn't be infected, ths because mono also goes under the name of kissing disease. "Great news. Oh man! Perfect timing. NOT! It was a miracle! Markku was still sick but a little better at least. He survived the wedding ceremonies and the party! I didn't get sick though, phew! Tenerife was really nice and I think the heat did Markku well.

Who whould think that peeing in a cup, dipping a stick and waiting for 5 minutes could change our lives as we know it for ever? One cold evening, more specifically on january 31st, it was time to take the test. I had been feeling a little different the past few days and my period was late. Jonathan and Lindsey's Family Blog. November 29, 2017. We had a pretty quiet Thanksgiving this year. The Avery’s of Pullman were in Laos, and The Kings of Vancouver and Oakland had other plans as well, so it was just Grammy and Papa, and us. There was a lot of ping pong. Papa and Silas shot some hoops downstairs. We put a puzzle together. And when we got a chance, we took some walks. Silas, ready to bake cookies! I never thought I would have anyone in the hospital room besides Jonathan when I had a baby, but my sister-in-law Robin was taking pictures and everything happened so quickly that she ended up staying in for the birth! And I'm SO glad she did! I've teared up plenty of times looking at these pictures and remembering those few moments.
