Elliot . Amber . Wesley . Sawyer. Friday, October 29, 2010. Aiken Family, Fall in Review. Okay, so, it has only been like 6 months since I have actually posted here! I guess you could say we have been super busy! This summer was a blur, and now it is only a few weeks till Thanksgiving! Time is flying so fast, and I am hardly able to keep up! We are so incredibly blessed and the Lord continues to blow us away as we seek to walk HIS plan for our lives! It is the best journey! Wow, where to start! I can't b...

Where the extraordinary interrupts the mundane, the spontaneous interrupts the predictable. where God interrupts us. Saturday, June 30, 2012. In the 80's, I was an awkward 5th grade girl. My teeth pointed in every direction but down. I had thick pentagon shaped glasses. My hair was long and in a ponytail 7 days of the week. My twin sister and I were squeezed in the middle between two older siblings and two younger siblings. Yep, you counted correctly. 6 children! Wednesday, June 27, 2012. My friend Stace...

Where the extraordinary interrupts the mundane, the spontaneous interrupts the predictable. where God interrupts us. Becky on Becky: I am 33 years old, still trying to grow up and learn how to be an independent woman while at the same time recognizing I am utterly dependent on God. I find my identity in many things, but especially in that fact that God likes me and is happy to call me His :"I am poor and needy yet the LORD thinks upon me! God knows my issues and still likes me - praise Jesus!

Where the extraordinary interrupts the mundane, the spontaneous interrupts the predictable. where God interrupts us. Friday, July 20, 2012. My Mission. HIS Church. My husband led a team of 20 people on a mission trip to Haiti a few weeks ago. We caught up over the next couple of days. We talked about the trip, the ins-and-outs, the people of Haiti; the weather, the food, the team dynamics. And I started thinking about our history with missions. and the Church. Moving from one column to the next. What do we wear? This is random, i know. As well so now I don’t have to write one…just read hers. She makes the same point I stress…coordinate, don’t match. And be open to inspiration. We used the colors from the maps we made our airplanes from to inform our wardrobe decisions for this shoot. We may or may not have included too many colors…but if you know me, that’s a great expression of freedom. Comments : Leave a Comment. I thought summer was over….

Moving from one column to the next. My friend Kim has started a new business making wreaths and hair accessories. I am totally obsessed with her wreaths (and would be the hair bows if I had girls). You;ll see one on my front door as soon as I have time to pick out the colors. Check out her etsy. Shop and buy something fun. Her prices are so low that I sort of feel like I’m stealing from her but I think she really enjoys doing it. Comments : 1 Comment. Kale and white bean soup. 1 Dice one whole onion.
