너무도 사랑하고.그리운 내 아들.지금 너와 함께 있는 이시간들이 내 생에 최고의 선물이고.기쁨이고.넘치는 축복이란다. 우리 함께 있음이 이 얼마나 아름다운 것인가.넌 아니.이런 엄마 맘을. 2007년 4월 23일 월요일. 늦께 까지 누워 있다가 빨래을 하고 방을 치워 놓고 집을 나섰다.병원에 좀 다녀오려고 한다. 애들 아빠가 병원에 있다. 난 아이들을 보내기 위해서 아이들과 함께 생활을 하고 있다.밥이라도 해서 먹이고.아이들과 놀아주고 싶다. 헤어지면 언제 볼지 모르기 때문에 짧은 시간이라도 함께 있고 싶어서.아니 그동안 아이들이 편하게 지내게 하고싶은지 모르겠다.병원에서는 생활이 말이 아니기에.먹을 것이 없기에. 허구한날 아이들을 굶겨야 했기에.병원에 가니 애들 아빠가 반가워 한다.거진 열흘만에 얼굴을 보는것 같구나. 얼굴이 좋아 보인다.하긴 걱정이 있나 병원에서 나오는 밥 먹으면서 지내면 되는데. 순간 화가 난다.미워 하고싶지만.이제는 미워 할 가치조차 없는사람이라 생각이 든다. 아 아 내 애기...

My creative passions include weaving, fiber arts and photography. Monday, November 19, 2012. My third event basket is made from braided Yellow Flag Iris leaves and was woven as a demonstration piece during the Eastside Culture Crawl this past weekend. For this basket I pre-soaked the leaves and left them to mellow under a wet towel for the duration of the event. The leaves were plaited into a 5 strand braid, coiled and stitched.
