5 Questions with…. 5 Questions with…. July 29, 2015. It’s worth nothing that something good came from the jalapeno burn. Of Sunday night: this Grilled Corn Salad. I will be making it again this weekend and probably every week after, that is how good this salad is. After creeping out of bed last night at 11:30pm for a few more spoonfuls, I realized mid-bit that I griped about the jalapenos without even mentioning what they went into. So here you go- summer in a bowl. Stay safe, friends. Summer in a bowl.

Home is Wherever I'm with You. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Mara Lou is nearly 11 weeks old now! Unfortunately, she's battling her first big cold. She and Mommy are both sneezing a lot with congestion, runny noses, and sore throats. Luckily, I am able to stay at home and snuggle her and rest with her and wash the bazillion outfits and toys that are contaminated with her various . secretions. ;). Yesterday it was over 70 degrees here in KC! Not only was the company wonderful, but the zoo is really awesome!

The only thing is, it seems that when we don’t have anything real to worry about our minds reach out even further to find something worth loosing sleep over. Our anxiety skips from one thing to the next like pigeons picking up crumbs in an outdoor café. A little demon party!
