Recreating Beauty from Ashes: Happiness.
http://recreatingbeautyfromashes.blogspot.com/2013/05/happiness.html
Recreating Beauty from Ashes. Friday, May 24, 2013. Happiness to me is. Feeling my baby moving inside of me. Watching the sunshine from my window at work. Hubby putting his head on my tummy and talking to baby. Thanking Jesus for his many gifts. Finalizing details on our house purchase. Knowing God is in control. Planning baby's nursery (albeit, in my head). It's amazing to be pregnant. It's amazing to be buying a house. It's amazing to love my husband this much, and know he loves me just as much. Act ju...

Danny can't wake up, Mrs. Torrance.: November 2009
http://iamcooper.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Danny can't wake up, Mrs. Torrance. Saturday, November 07, 2009. All the Things that Went Wrong - Part Six. Day Six - Sunday, August 30th. I decide to call some of the wiser ones in our church for advice. When I use the hotel phone, it won't allow me to call long distance with Visa. I try calling collect. No one is answering. I can't get a hold of anyone. I must use my cellphone which costs a ridiculous amount of money. I get a hold of Ted and ask if I can call him back collect. He agrees. We try calling...

Pa to Panama on two wheels: Back in the States
http://patopanamaontwowheels.blogspot.com/2010/12/back-in-states.html
The Bridge Of The Americas. Friday, December 3, 2010. Back in the States. One thing that we have definitely noticed as we have started to ride north is the cooler temperatures. We have found ourselves bundling up when it is only 65 degrees out, so I'm not quite sure how I'm going to manage when we get closer to home and it is in the 30s. I guess it looks like I will be purchasing a lot of thermal underwear and bundling up quite a bit. PA to Panama on Two Wheels. December 3, 2010 at 3:36 PM. So far at thi...

Pa to Panama on two wheels: September 2010
http://patopanamaontwowheels.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Bridge Of The Americas. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Dry, trees, and drier. So this marked the beginning of my most favorite day of riding. With a late start we headed on southward. On Ladybird Johnson trail among the redwoods. I climbed the side of a redwood to get the pic. Stopped and cooked lunch on rt 1. We road on the avenue of the giants that was amazing, then hit the famous rt 1. lets just say our bikes got lighter as we scraped and ground our way around some of the best corners ever. My camp...

Pa to Panama on two wheels: Bike Repair
http://patopanamaontwowheels.blogspot.com/2010/11/bike-repair.html
The Bridge Of The Americas. Monday, November 22, 2010. After my accident in Panama, I knew my there were still issues with the front end of the bike. I took the bike apart (at the Hostel de Clayton where we stayed two nights along the canal) and determined both front forks were bent. There's still an issue or two to be fixed, but not enough to keep me from riding it home. Dealer in San Jose. Bike in the ER. Bent forks which were replaced. S in though. Tiles, really Laban? one crazy a day...: April 2013
http://carleighdavey.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
One crazy a day. The sun keeps shining. And life keeps happening. And we make it through. It's a miracle really. We shared easter weekend with my family. And attended their easter sunday church community celebration. It was pretty hip and groovy and made me want to boogie, for the most part. As part of the service, a couple shared. What "hope," the kind that comes from jesus, looks like. After the heart break of loosing an infant. They told their story. And it was really fun. And kept giving each other.

Life As We Know It...: What's In a Name?
http://lifeasweknowittheweavers.blogspot.com/2015/02/whats-in-name.html
Life As We Know It. Saturday, February 28, 2015. What's In a Name? In honor of our son being here a whole two weeks, I wanted to take a few bleary-eyed moments to record, for you all and for our family, the story behind "Ezra James." Already, we've encountered people who aren't familiar with it or assume it's a girl's name (because of the A maybe? But for us, there is power in the story of the moments before and the man behind our son's name. Without hesitation he said, "Ezra James.". First of all, his n...
