Friday, December 24, 2010. Christmas really is in July, historically. But I'll let it slide this year. May your families, lives, finances, and hardships be blessed and restored. This time of year is so hard for many people, and I personally am thankful for supportive family, increased business, developing and growing kids, and running water. I am thankful I have joy inside me that radiates, that fills my soul, and that always sustains. May your Christmas be filled with the love that truly completes us.

Monday, January 31, 2011. 30 Days of Blogging. Day Five. A picture of somewhere you've been. I've always gazed at mountains, dreaming of someday enjoying the view from the summit. Last summer I finally made the first step toward my dream! Aaron and I took off for an overnight stay on Mt. Baker. We didn't summit. Monday, March 18, 2013. A Few of My Favorite Things. And by a few of my favorite things, I mean one. I wanted to share that I have the Party Bullet, one of the types of Magic Bullet Blender series. I got it as a gift for Christmas and I LOVE IT! I make smoothies for breakfasts most mornings, so I need a good blender. I seriously could not be happier with this product! And it does a much better job than any of my other blenders. It's also compact! Who knew a tiny little blender could make one so happy?

Thursday, April 19, 2012. My parents came in for Easter weekend this year. They actually came in the weekend before, then went out to the hill country, and came back for Easter weekend. They were looking for property in a couple of different areas. We had a great time and got to go to an Aggie baseball game at the new stadium, played golf, made margaritas and cooked out.
