http://garg-naveen.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
March 3, 2010. Hope hai ki marti nahi! Yesterday one more MBA season came to an end for me with CAT publishing results and I have stopped counting! Interestingly, without any success till now even after investing so much of money, time and efforts, I seem to be very upbeat with new ideas coming to my mind! With every passing year, I achieve something that pushes my expectation even higher and makes my pursuit for MBA even more challenging. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). July 22, 2010. After a shocker last month in the form of my cancelled trip to London in the eleventh hours, finally got an opportunity to visit Seattle (WA, USA). I will be attending a week long seminar called Tech Ready, organized for Microsoft Services. The best part obviously is not the seminar but the visit to Microsoft's Redmond campus. This is where many great product were conceived and biggest software company became the biggest. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Business Maharajas b...

Naveen Garg's Blog: Being human!
http://garg-naveen.blogspot.com/2011/07/being-human.html
July 6, 2011. Being Human' generally ignites some thoughts about our responsibility towards human rights, nature, society and under privileged, I agree with all this in its entirety. In India these days 'Being Human' also symbolizes actor Salman Khan's organization for social cause. However, while reading Richard Carlson's book 'Dont't Sweat Small Stuff at Work' I got a new perspective of this term. It's about letting yourself being a human. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Naveen Garg's Blog: The student loan story
http://garg-naveen.blogspot.com/2011/07/student-loan-story.html
July 5, 2011. The student loan story. In the entire process of starting my MBA, the most painful part was getting Education Loan from India and this exposed me to some complex and some unprofessional side of the loan process. I wish to share my experience on some key points in this post so that others going on this path can avoid some of the trouble. Start the process as early as possible. Prefer Public sector banks 'as far as possible'. Let us see some examples (I am assuming public sector bank):. As th...

Naveen Garg's Blog: Dilemma v/s Decision
http://garg-naveen.blogspot.com/2011/07/dilemma-vs-decision.html
July 27, 2011. Today the whole day was full of dilemma about one critical thing. The more I thought about possibilities, options, workarounds and consequences more confused I found myself. Then finally I approached the matter in a methodical way and was able to reach to a conclusion. Though this discussion sounds very trivial, the effect of this dilemma was non-trivial with so many positive and negative thoughts stirring my mind all through the day. May 28, 2011. Who moved my cheese? As I am getting prepared for my MBA I thought of getting into MBA mode by starting reading some of the books suggested by college Profs. One popular name I saw on the list was 'Who moved my cheese? I have seen this tiny book on almost every book stall over the years so thought of starting with it. I got so bored in this tiny book that I could not stop myself from expressing my boredom on my blog. This is the crappiest book have ever read! Links to this post. The Monk wh...

September 21, 2010. I was trying to change the look and feel of the blog after keeping the same theme for more than two years and in the process screwed it badly. Need to spend some time to fix this over next some days :(. Links to this post. Recession is for Individuals not for big corporates. July 8, 2011. At peace with chaos. We all wish that things in our personal and professional life should or must be the way we want them to be but this is far from reality. Every now and then chaos surround us and drive us crazy. The negative effects of this are multifold and affect almost everything in our life.
