I have watched the horses in the field behind my house buck and neigh at the first sound of thunder, and I always wonder what they know that I don't. Yesterday Steve and I were the anxious ones as we attempted to fight the force of the winds and stay upright on our bikes while cars and trucks passed us at highway speeds.
