To pass your dive master you have to complete a load of different swim test designed to push your endurance and just make sure you are a confident swimmer. Which I have never really been. Some of them are pretty easy and some are a lot tougher! The way it works is every swim is timed and scored from 1-5 and you need a total of 15 to pass all of them. This is like an average of 3. The guy weighs about 100kg I only weigh about 60kg.
