The Dex Files: September 2006
http://thedexfiles.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 23, 2006. Greetings from Los Angeles! I took my first ever road trip down to my dad's hometown this past weekend. Here's a picture of me at a landmark in L.A., Bob's Big Boy. I guess soon, I'll be Dex Big Boy. Here's a shot of my Lola, Lolo and me. All right, I can't wait to get it! Wait a minute.what's a Mustang? Great group shot here. My Lola is holding Randall and I'm being held by Randall's mom, Ginny. Ginny being my dad's cousin. Randall's only a couple of months old,...This is a...

The Dex Files: June 2006
http://thedexfiles.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 29, 2006. Here I am in one of my favorite pieces of furniture. It's a swing with a mobile. I can sit and watch this mobile for hours. And I do sit and watch it for hours. Posted by Dexter at 9:51 PM. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. My mom calls this one, "Crazy boy". Hmmm, I wonder why? So to sum it all up, what have we learned today? Well, we already knew that my dad is quite the handyman, but I've learned not to underestimate his skills. Posted by Dexter at 9:03 PM. Tuesday, June 27, 2006.

The Dex Files: August 2006
http://thedexfiles.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 30, 2006. I finally got to snuggle and play with my Uncle Mike! We had a lot of fun together. He's crazy just like me. I'm not quite sure why my mom felt compelled to feed me something so revolting. Peas are disgusting. Just thinking about it right now makes me throw up in my mouth a little. I'm not kidding. I will eject the vile green goo. Thankfully, Jenny came over and rescued me. She had the sense to feed me good old fashioned milk. D Unit J Dogg = Good Times. Sunday, August 27, 2006.

Lisa's Kitchen Sink: August 2009
http://www.lisaclaxton.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
August 17, 2009. I get quite a bit of flack at home for not posting often enough on my blog. After a bit of soul searching I recognize that I have lost direction in my work. Maybe it is that word alone that has misguided me. WORK. It has been almost 2 years since I worked full time for someone else, so I must question why has my brain applied that dirty little word to my favorite thing: making jewelry. For me it's like I just said when I move I won't be taking the TV along. Posted by Lisa Claxton. Call i...

http://cousinisaac.blogspot.com/2011/01/banacys-bakery.html
Blog around the world with recording artist Cousin Isaac. Monday, January 17, 2011. We just so happened to be at HNL at the same time, so got to spend about half an hour with my first cousin Nancy as she was on her way to one of the other islands to visit her friend's Gabby. Turns out she's been baking vegan banana bread and has a new company with a 9 year old at the helm of the website and financials. In her own words "How cute is that? Sat Jan 22, 03:05:00 PM PST. Keep up the good work!

cousin isaac airlines: December 2009
http://cousinisaac.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Blog around the world with recording artist Cousin Isaac. Saturday, December 26, 2009. New Music up on Cousinisaac.com. I just posted a whole bunch of unmastered rough mixes of instrumental music both new and old on my website cousinisaac.com. Atari Beats" is a really old album that I recorded using an Atari 540 ST computer, a couple of Roland Juno synths and an EMAX sampler. I think it is from 1996 or so. Lo-Fi Beatbox Bus Music" is just like Idnotes, only instead of drums, I beatbox instead.

Lisa's Kitchen Sink: One Night Stand
http://www.lisaclaxton.com/2010/11/one-night-stand.html
November 09, 2010. Last weekend I was invited to sell my jewelry at the Oakland Art Murmur with 16 other artists. For weeks I had agonized over making jewelry to sell. It doesn't usually work this way for me. The act of making jewelry for sale is stressful to say the least. Oh yeah, I should mention, I sold one $45 necklace at the event but I did get to talk to several other wireworkers throughout the night. Posted by Lisa Claxton. November 09, 2010. I invested in good tools (Lindstrom) after I found tha...

Lisa's Kitchen Sink: Bead & Button: Memory Lane
http://www.lisaclaxton.com/2010/04/bead-button-memory-lane.html
April 12, 2010. Bead and Button: Memory Lane. Yep, it is right around the corner! The Bead and Button show is much like attending the Super Bowl of bead shows. With nearly 650 classes to chose from you can't go wrong. Of those 650 classes I will be teaching a mere 11 of them. It is akin to a marathon of creativity and jewelry making! When this show first began it went under the name. I'd love to hear from the other side of the monitor. What are your favorite shows and why? Posted by Lisa Claxton. Havent ...
