CARES keeps caring by helping children and families begin to heal. CARES' healing services continue after the medical assessment is complete. Before leaving our facility, children and their parents or guardians meet with the child and family advocate. She evaluates their needs and refers them to counseling, medical/dental care, food, clothing, transportation, gas, day care, housing - a wide range of community resources.
