The Frerichs: September 2007
http://thefrerichs.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 29, 2007. So, last night I watched Meerkat Manor. For the first time. Dennis had told me it was an animal soap opera starring meerkats. That it was. As I got into bed last night I shared with Dennis all that he had missed.(unbelievably, he slept through the whole thing! By the time I finished telling him what he missed, I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe. Then this morning, what was on again? Has anyone else ever seen it? Does it make you laugh or cry? Just one more filler.

Grand Krumps!: March 2011
http://grandkrumps.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Because I have friends who do not "do" Facebook, I repeat the photos I posted there this afternoon. I have always loved the musical. Singing in the Rain. That sits on my piano and discovered that it is an elocution text that says on the flip side of this page that it was printed in 1898. However, if I read these Roman numerals correctly, 1905 is mentioned. This is obviously a college text I purchased in a used book store in Redmond. Joanne's Quilt is Finished! But photos cannot...

Thursday, January 31, 2008. Beach Day Courtesy of MLK Jr! We love to have a reason to go to the beach! Combine company with an extra day off school and we will find some sunshine! We had to haul a couple of boys back to the beach for this picture:. Grandma chases Tanner back to safer waters - he's our fearless kid, thinking he's as big and experienced as Teagan and Grandpa, who were out with boogie boards quite a way from the shore (or at least too far for a 5 year old! Uncle Brad keeps cool in the shade!

http://sesandts.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 29, 2007. Christmas Eve means a large gathering of family and friends outside in our yard and pavilion. As always, there was tons of delicious food (reputation still intact! And our nativity scene went really well- with Luana in charge, working her magic! For the first time, the live nativity had a real live baby! This is little Issac, Jared's 5 week old son. Issac was a very cooperative baby and slept so peacefully! A couple of kids wouldn't participate, (note Staci's absence! The cam...

Ss & Ts: What a Monday. . .So Far...
http://sesandts.blogspot.com/2009/02/what-monday-so-far.html
Monday, February 23, 2009. What a Monday. . .So Far. We are having a Monday. That word should describe it fairly well. At 5:30 this morning, the alarm went off. As I got up to deal with it, I could see lights and hear that Teagan was up and getting ready for seminary. Good. I listened to him drive away. When the middle school called to let us know that Talmage is sick - cold, pale, with a little bit of a stomach ache. They are on their way home now. On the NOT bright side: it's only 9:50 am on a MONDAY!

Ss & Ts: The Judo Rainbow
http://sesandts.blogspot.com/2009/01/judo-rainbow.html
Saturday, January 17, 2009. We had judo promotion last week and here are the results: Teagan is a green belt, Talmage and blue, and Taggart is orange! Sydni, sitting on my lap, commented, "Mommy, look at the rainbow belts! And she was right - we were only missing the purple belt among our boys, at least from the colors awarded that night. We are proud of our boys! And they LOVE this sport! January 18, 2009 at 7:58:00 AM PST. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Ocean of Notions. Joy in the Journey.
