Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Busy, busy, busy! Lauren had her nine month checkup on March 9 and weighed 19 lbs (50th %), was 28 3/8 inches long (50-75th %) and her head was 17 5/8 inches (75th %). Right on track! She throws little tantrums when you take toys away and I asked the Dr. about that and he gave me a big smile saying that it's her personality shining through. Great! Chris, Kim, Hayes and Kate. Monday, September 12, 2011. End of Summer Catch Up. I have recorded some things that he has said that were cute or funny that I don't want to forget and I also recorded some firsts for lil Kate. Told me to "go to my room". Still loves movies: calls Pinocchio- "yoke-e-yoke". Favorite shows/movies- Dora and Diego, Toy Story, Blues Clues, Curious George, Calliu, Charlotte's Webb (The Pig), and Bambi. He says, "more before everything"- "More, got it". High Nee No"- I don't know.

After the weeks of sickness and worrying about platelet counts and what seemed like being pregnant for years, my water broke at around 3:40 on the morning of Monday, June 7th (which just happens to be my brother Grant's birthday). My water broke with Brandon at around the same time on a Monday! Of course you aren't driving yourself to the hospital! Steve calls her his "Little Petunia" and he has turned soft since her arrival - I can tell! The night before I went into labor - 38 wks.

Sunday, June 26, 2011. OKso I have to write this down or I'll forget it. We were in line at Subway where there wasn't a soul in the restaurant except for the worker. As I was ordering, Brandon was behind me, than ran and grabbed my leg and made a weird smile at me. I said, "What's wrong? And he grinned this sly little grin and said, "Nothing, Mommy." Tuesday, August 10, 2010. This summer has flown by! I love that I can ask him for something and he can go and get it. But, I still don't leave them in the room together alone - I caught him trying to pick her up the other day.At her two month appt last week, she weighed 10 lbs 13 oz and is 22 1/4 inches long. About the same size as Brandon at this age except that he was an inch taller. Lauren - 3 weeks. Daddy and Brandon goofing around. Brandon and Coach Gene. Brandon two months - Look how similar!
