Mike brought it home at lunch. And got it all set up for me to unpack: PowerTap mount and camera right on top ;) there has been anticipation, and nerves, and last night Mike and I reorganized the twins' rooms to make room for this one. But it is here! I now have a road bike! And now to unpack :). Aug - 5430 Halfiron.

Son Volt - Windfall. Iron Cross Trail Run. Well, you got yer event t-shirt, as with any respectable event. it's not dri-fit or anything :(, and it's white, but it's okay. i was suprised by the Iron Cross pint glass though, very nice. what else? A nice pair of Iron Cross cycling socks by Sock Guy for finishing. all told, that's easily worth my $40. in addition though, they served donuts and coffee in the morning, and lunch was fresh BBQ catered by Memphis Blues. A few race tales. I've been reading here for a while and would love to see more about AR training/races other people are doing. So. with a few newer AR stories in my own LJ I figured I might as well share my experiences with you guys! The Explore CA Baja 24 hour race was awesome. I raced with the Big Bear Adventure Racing.
