Firstly do remember that when visiting Wats and Temples reasonable clothing should be worn - certainly sleeveless and low-cut tops and/or short shorts are a definite No! There are not a huge number of temples and other places to visit in Vientiane and in reality allowing one whole day for sightseeing should be sufficient to cover most of them.

Visiting Luang Prabang and Vientiane in Laos. Laos can only be described as a really beautiful but somewhat sleepy country. This Southeastern country has beautiful countryside and nobody is in any sort of hurry to do anything much.
