L'Arche Clinton / The Arch. Relationship - Transformation - Sign. Known as The Arch,. The L'Arche Community in Clinton, Iowa was founded in 1974 by Sr. Marjorie Wisor, OSF, a Clinton Franciscan. It is now home to about 20 Core Members and 30 Assistants, make it one of the largest L'Arche Communities in the Midwest. Our Idenity and Mission. We are people, with and without developmental disabilities, sharing life in communities belonging to an International Federation.
