Get your weight forward at the catch. They aren’t available in this case because they are already where they should be when you finish your pull. I strongly suggest practicing the “Tippy Toe Drill”, which is drill number seven in “ Some Useful Technique Drills for SUP. Keep your weight outside the board during the pull.
