As a future teacher and a mother whose son will be entering Kindergarten in the year 2011, the issue of homework sparked my interest. When I think of all of the many hours I spent on homework in the elementary and junior high school years, I cringe. Did I really get anything out of it? Did I do it because my parents made me?
