Saturday, October 31, 2009. The Malayter-Stankus Family Carves a Pumpkin. Tim and I had a great Halloween weekend. First off, it is rare that Halloween falls on a Saturday. It definitely gives one a better chance to have a little fun. The weekend kicked off with the Charlotte Bobcats opening game. Janet was able to hook us up with Row A tickets to the season opener agains the Knicks. The Bobcats won and we were pumped. The unlucky pumpkin.the object of our carvings. I do love the look of Jack-o-Lanterns!

Saturday, August 22, 2009. Working at NASCAR, I have been trying to make my way to the different tracks to learn about them a little bit more. When my colleague and friend, Janet, asked if I wanted to go up with her for the day at the Bristol night race, I jumped right in! We helped out with a track walk and an autograph session. More than anything, it was interesting to get to see the Collesium of the South! My view of the gate at the track. Taking pictures on the 23% grade was kind of a feat.

Saturday, September 5, 2009. Labor Day with Mom and Dad in Charleston. Tim and I hopped into the car on Labor Day weekend and we drove down to Charleston, SC. I know that it seems like we go there often, but it is a GREAT city and it is very accessible and is so much fun! We love you guys and miss you! A week ago this evening our daughter, Eliza Christine Long entered the world after a long, difficult, and emotionally draining labor and delivery.
