Monday, October 29, 2012. Some exciting things might be happening in the next few weeks that will keep us from travelling on the weekends (stay tuned! So we decided to try to get a quick road trip up to Charlotte, NC in while we can to visit my parents,. Kevin, Shannon and Jack. And do a little wedding venue shopping. (Don't worry, though, we didn't find anything that we've made a decision on yet.) But boy are there are some beautiful venues in Charlotte; my favorite areas there are Dilworth.

Thursday, June 26, 2014. Thankfully, we invited a small group of girls and every single one of them was able to come to the party on Sunday. The day of the party, Hollyn was still not feeling 100%. I can tell in her eyes when I look back at these pictures, but all of the details came together and she ended up having a really great party. Hollyn wanted an American Girl Doll Party. We had each friend bring a doll with them. The girls had a tea party and then a fashion show with their dolls.

Monday, June 25, 2012. Now that we're settled, Pete, Chubbs and I can't wait to explore Atlanta and all the neat little cities within driving distance of us. Top on our list right now, though, is Savannah, GA. I'm thinking Paula Dean, southern cooking, cute little old ladies, tree-lined streets and gorgeous light yellow houses with full wrap-around porches. Well, weekends lately really, because during the week it's pretty much wake up, drive, work, drive, go to sleep.and doesn't leave much time for anything more than a quick load of laundry, some vacuuming, or a bit of some good ol' tv watching. :) No complaints, though, because the weekends spent with Pete and Chubbs always make up for the long week. Artistic sides and left us a masterpeice, which is still hanging up in there. :). They're both under 4 and look JUST like their daddy. So precious! Presented by Darby and Tatum :).
