Monday, March 19, 2012. Since we've had the time change, I try to get outside to play with Emma after we get home in the evenings. I love it this weather! Speaking of spring, that also usually means horrible allergies. It started early this year, but someone told me to have some local, pure honey every day to help clear the allergies. I found a local beekeeper and bought some pure (unprocessed) honey from him a couple weeks ago. All he does is filter the honey- -wow, is it strong, sweet stuff! It looks s...

Wednesday, July 3, 2013. My trip to Mackinaw City was beautiful! My coworker and I went up on Wednesday, and thanks to the long days, we were able to take a ferry to the island our first evening there before the conference started on Thursday. A view from our hotel. Mid-June and the lilacs were in full bloom! The tulips were just dying away, I can't believe how far behind they are! The light came straight into my room in the mornings, so I enjoyed the early morning sitting on our balcony and reading.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. My big update is that Emma will be a big sister at the end of the year! My due date is December 3. I'm hoping that it doesn't happen right at Thanksgiving. I hope Emma will enjoy her big sister role! Fortunately, my morning sickness has not been even half as bad as it was with Emma, but I don't really remember being so hungry with her. After starting school for the first time, I think Colten caught everything he possibly could, and I just hope that this year will be at least a bit better. Let the egg dying begin!
