Or get busy dying. Friday, May 17, 2013. Started a new job recently. manager/caretaker at a local motel. 7 units. not too hard. summer will be hectic but thats okay. this job rocks! I get to live in the on-site house free of rent,and i get cable,internet,and power free too. plus a salary! I feel like im semi retired lol! Tuesday, February 2, 2010. As Time Passes By. I cooked everyday and just rested. I haven't felt good the past few days and stayed home. Tomorrow, I go back to work. It has been a nice little vacation. We are expecting a little wintry mix Thursday but they think it will be minor. Then we are expecting some wintry mix on Monday and the weather gurus are "watching it." We will see. I am praying for an uneventful year. too much going on lately. With the weather and other things. Saturday, August 28, 2010. I'm pressing on the upward way. New heights I'm gaining every day. Still praying as I'm onward bound. Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. Why the words to that old song? I remember singing this song, sitting on my grand fathers lap, my mom playing the piano. Grandpa always had a toothpick in his mouth. Monday, January 3, 2011. What was I thinking? In cleaning out my pictures, I ran across a few that made me wonder - "What was I thinking when I took this picture? Callie and Sister Cat are looking at a baby mouse running around the bottom of the pail. Why in the world would I want a picture of this? At least I didn't take a picture of what happened next.
