The recipe for a horrid school year:. 32 heaping doses of behaviorally challenged individuals under the age of 16. Divide previous ingredients amongst two classes (only TWO classes). Make sure that only 22 of those have an IEP and/or Behavior Plan. A dollop of excessive teenage girl attitude. One quarter of vomiting/crying through the morning getting reading routine.

Understand I am attempting this story with limited exaggeration, but to give you an idea, I walked in with two lads that walked only on the balls of their feet, bent too far forward at the waist, wearing neutral tones (of the sweatpant variety), carrying approximately EIGHT freshly sharpened pencils (POINTING OUT! And frantically reading/studying some scribbled on papers. When we arrived at room 107 I met MORE of them!

Friday, January 22, 2010. If the toilet is a throne then the bathroom must be a palace. Let me introduce you to my little project- THE PURPLE PALACE! Josh and I bought this pre-foreclosed home with hopes of fixing it up and selling it for a pretty penny. In order to bring this house up a notch we absolutely had to get rid of the texturing! Next came the dilemma of figuring out HOW to do that. If you know me at all, you will know that I convinced Josh to do option #2! I couldn't do another load for days!

The due date (March 11th) has come and gone, but the baby seems quite content to stay where she is. I have been contracting on and off quite regularly but they are not coming any closer than 10 minutes apart.
