July | 2011 | Letters to Japan

https://letterstojapanproject.wordpress.com/2011/07

Sending love and compassion to those in need. July 13, 2011. Many thanks to those who attended the July letter writing event, and gave up there time to pen some love! We now have about 8 letters and poems ready to translate and send, which is a great start! We are hoping to hold more events should the opportunities arise, and get more and more people involved. Special thanks to Natasha for her leads on the Letter Writing Club, and Renee for readily agreeing to incorporate this project into the night.

Sending love and compassion to those in need. July 3, 2011. Now it has, thanks to the caring hearts of many. 8212;————————. Is this pretentious, to write such things from a distance, in a non-native language? I think not. I believe that any action is better than none, and my prayer is that this wouldn’t pose a problem! I await your response.

Is it weird that I remember? Saturday, January 07, 2012.

letterstojakey | letters to my youngest son

Letters to my youngest son. December 2, 2016 by Heather Straughter. Somehow along the way though it became something else. Not just a way for me to connect with you but a way to share with others how I was doing. And something in that lost its truth for me. And with that became a different kind of grief and anger and even guilt. Should I write more? Should I write less? And why was I writing if it wasn’t just for you? And then just like that we’ve made it through. Click to email (Opens in new window).

Letters to Jasmin: ♥

Sometimes the posts there will be sad, angry, lost, or confusing; and sometimes they will be happy, exciting, inspiring, and full of emotion. This is my journey. We have recently found out that we are expecting again! I hope you will all enjoy reading these posts as much as I enjoy writing them, and I'm hoping to expand my blog into something bigger one day. Enjoy!

A Chapter in the Story. Pages of faith, love and grace, of a life lived, and… of adventure. June 23, 2015. Manna, literally, “What is it? The mystery and wonder of the substance encapsulated in a few scant syllabi of its name. Was it puzzlement or true wonder that the Israelites felt? I’m not sure, but for now let’s run with the latter. God knows how long I’ve gone hungry, settling for spiritual junk in moments of non-self-control.
