Frightened at first, she eventually went along with two rescue workers who offered some soothing words and a little bit to eat. Ok, so, maybe my silly idea a few weeks ago of playing an online vocabulary game and donating small amounts of rice to feed the hungry is not enough for Earth Day. Then how about this: Start a compost pile this year! Animal manure No pet litter. Coffee grounds and filters. Shredded newspaper with soy based inks. Read up on it at Composting 101. No Meat No Bones No Fats.
