Nauvoo, IL | The Buttons
https://lifeasabutton.wordpress.com/2014/08/07/nauvoo-il
August 7, 2014. After that tour was ate our lunch on the grass next to one of the vignettes with bag pipes and singing. It was awesome and now whenever Bristol hears bag pipes she reminds us about our trip. The games area was also a huge hit. We had fun playing some games, trying out the stilts and other fun toys. Bristol was in heaven playing in the kitchen. I think she has missed her play kitchen back home. We left Nauvoo feeling very blessed! This entry was posted in Adventures. A day in Kansas City.
Summer in Kansas | The Buttons
https://lifeasabutton.wordpress.com/2014/07/18/summer-in-kansas
July 18, 2014. Isaac has been awesome and rides his bike 15 miles each way to work and home almost everyday so the kids and I can go play. If that doesn’t make him husband/father of the year I don’t know what does! You can tell they don’t get to watch a lot of TV when my two year old gets so excited! So here is a little onslaught of pictures of what the kids and I have been up to this summer since I don’t want to split them up into separate blogs. We’ve since taken Isaac back several times and enjoyed ou...

July 21, 2014. Well she is lucky to get to celebrate twice because she LOVES birthdays and any kind of party no matter how informal or small. She’ll talk about parties constantly until they arrive and for a good while after. She is lucky because this year she will get a party when we go home with friends and family because I want a good excuse to have a party. She is a girl after my own heart. Here is her awesome trick that she is even better at now that she has her goggles. Isaac Nathan →. You are comme...

A day in Kansas City. August 7, 2014. We’ve been quite the explorers this summer. Our car mileage would tell you so. The weekend of Nathan’s birthday we decided to explore downtown a bit more and go to a company picnic for Isaac’s work. It was a long, relaxing, fun day. We also explored Union Station in downtown. The kids favorite part was th e model train area. They could have stayed there for hours. I honestly thought we got more pictures of the trains, but we only have the Lego Movie one. You are comm...

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. I Just Wanted You to Know. That I can't stand the smell or taste of most anything that's cherry with very few exceptions and it must be because when I was little I remember having to take a cherry flavored medicine that was HORRIBLE and has resulted in my adulthood phobia of cherries. Which is why I cringed when the guy at the car wash offered me a cherry scented air freshener. I chose the new car one just so you know. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Grateful day número uno.

Jamie & Krissy Ison: McDonalds and thunderstorms
http://jandkison.blogspot.com/2013/07/mcdonalds-and-thunderstorms.html
Tuesday, July 16, 2013. So yesterday was one of those days where I was dragging kelsie along trying to get all of my errands done while trying to chase/scold/entertain/hold a flailing toddler that thinks she's a grown up and needs to rearrange every item on the shelf once she gets down as I'm trying to grocery shop. Doesn't sound very fun for mommy or roo does it? We stayed for almost 2 hours lol! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Some of My Favorite Songs. at the moment ;). View my complete profile.

Tuesday, August 2, 2011. This post is unorganized forgive me}. I am grateful for a lot of things. But this summer has been a real eye opener for me. i have been blessed with more than i will ever deserve, and too often i forget just how spoiled my wonderful little life is. Preston lets me make decisions, even if he doesn't entirely like the choices i've made. for example, our weddings colors were {white, black, grey, and green} and he HATES the color green. it is his least favorite color. he ...Last year...
Jamie & Krissy Ison: April 2013
http://jandkison.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Poor lil Roo threw up twice last night and twice today :( It's the saddest thing to see her throw up and look at me like I need to stop it. She's not acting super sick like its the flu so I'm hoping it's just a stomach bug that will pass quick cuz I don't like my baby girl being sick. It's really hard for me not to revert to nurse mode when she's sick. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some of My Favorite Songs. at the moment ;). View my complete profile. Ez man 16 months.

Life as a Burp-Rag
Life as a Burp-Rag. Life, as told by a fairly klutzy, socially awkward introvert. Sunday, August 19, 2012. I am an addict. There I said it. I am addicted. I am addicted to something that is a time-waster. I am addicted to something that could potentially be ruining my eyesight. I am addicted to. the internet. Excuse me. The Internet. The Before-and-After's are numerous. The quick fixes are endless. The reasons, motivations, diagrams are countless. What would that mean? Running clubs that focus on childre...

Life as a Bus Stop | travel. write. live.
Life as a Bus Stop. Travel. write. live. Life as a what? I’m still alive. Can you hear it in the distance? It’s the sound of crickets echoing in the night. It’s the sound of tumble weed rolling across a desert landscape. Perhaps, it’s the sound of a genetically-modified cricket-tumble weed which captures even more acutely how I haven’t touched this blog in such a long time. What have I been up to? Well, let me show you…. Which I always forget to replace. She sleeps for hours then turns into an excited sp...
