Red Delicious Living: Observations of a brown-eyed girl. Also, a good place to kill ten minutes at work. January 08, 2009. I don't suppose I can even begin to describe how incredibly cool Egypt. Is, but I went DIVING IN THE RED SEA and jumped at the pyramids with the Grateful Dead's Danny R., toured Luxor with a private guide, rode a fellucca, and saw a whirling dervish for new years. About as cool as going to the gelato conference in Italy. Last year. Life freaks me out how good it is. How Rich Are You?

Come in - she urged me. When the coffee was finished, she reached around to turn the fire off. Another ten minutes of chatting until she stood up to go into the salon to collect two es...

Spontaneity has its benefits. I used to live by a "Yes" rule. In college, I had the word "yes" in all kinds of colors and hand drawn fonts on the living room wall. People walked in and asked all the time, "why do you have yesses all over your wall? For the years I lived in New York City, my rule (third, among one. Hula-danced,...

Red Delicious Living: Observations of a brown-eyed girl. Also, a good place to kill ten minutes at work. May 12, 2004. And we look back on it rather fondly. See how rich you are. This is how I once stacked up in my last job (I've had six in ten years). Now that I'm retired/unemployed/a vagabond, I'm sure my ratings have dropped a few billion. You are in the top 0.77% richest people in the world. There are 5,953,760,935 people poorer than you. And consider an hour's salary. It is glorious to be rich.
