Every year at preschool instead of dressing up for Halloween, the school does a "farm day" complete with petting zoo, party, crafts, and the opportunity to dress up like a farmer. In December as we were announcing that baptism was coming up and Chris was teaching the kids at church about baptism, Cadence came to us and expressed that she would like to be baptized. We were so glad to begin dialogue with her about it. So, in december as her Daddy taught about it, she decided that she was ready to tell everyone that she was a follower of Jesus. and we gladly agreed with her! Wednesday, June 12, 2013. This year Cadence has taken a tap/ballet combo class on Thursdays. We have had such a great time getting to know the other little girls in the class and watching Cadence learn a new skill and excel at it. So, now that we've practiced for an entire year, recital time finally came around. We have been practicing for weeks for this night! Cadence was a little nervous about it all but she did such a great job! This blue outfit was for tap. Practice really does make permanent :).
