Wednesday, April 19, 2006. I'm beginning to really dislike Java. I have an Applet that runs in a frame. When selecting a button on one frame another window appears with the applet running in it again. The applet is simply reading data from a socket. It is signed so that it is allowed to have access to the network. But on one PC, it fails to connect when the window pops up. If I look at the main page with the applet running all is well. Only in the pop up window does it fail. But why does it occur at all!
