Albernheit: May 2013
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). I came home one evening to this.a completely shattered window. I'm pretty sure Hoops didn't do it. Though it is broken from the inside. This is an historic photo, because after after the back door slammed, more than half of this glass came cascading down into the porch. Lovely. It's gonna be around $550 to replace. Bummer. Heads up, aliens! This is just the start. Are you God of War? Or a sleeping red planet? Only time will tell. Just look at our track record.

Albernheit: October 2011
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). Sick, Sick, Sick. Also known as lung Cheetos. That is actually a win/win. Though it tends to scare the cat. But I still don't know if they're going to try and charge me for this repair. AND I have to take more time off work.but I'm home sick anyway (because unlike some people, I stay home when I'm sick, yes I'm bitter), so I guess it all works out. Ohyes, it's in CANADA. Albernheit: August 2011
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). Today was convocation day at MCC - which meant free food, a free shirt, and a belly dancer. What's not to like? This was the first time we held convocation, and, though I was initially cynical, I have to say it was a great time. I got to participate in a flash mob dance, write a skit for our branding campaign, write and help direct a funny video (which will hopefully be put on YouTube soon) and . did I mention the free food? Moves like Jagger, no? It's just ...

Albernheit: It's Still Happening
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2013/01/its-still-happening.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). Well Facebook (or whatever) may have stolen my muse, but at least it brought me another cookbook sale. I sent this Dundee Cardunal potholder to my high school chum as an added thanks for the business. Along with the inscription that "Food for thought is no substitute for the real thing." Stolen without apology from Walt Kelly. Let's see that close up. Stunning. Oh yeah, and Happy New Year! April 17, 2013 at 4:58 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). All pr...

Albernheit: Holy Rushing Water, Batman!
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2013/04/holy-rushing-water-batman.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). Holy Rushing Water, Batman! The April 2013 flood has been wild. I usually put my boat in by that little tree in the middle, and scrape bottom to boot. Normally it's kind of a bubbly happy stream along this stretch that you can wade in. Fishermen usually stand just below the dam with hip waders. Not today! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Albernheit: Another Fun Date
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2012/12/another-fun-date.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). The Mayans should have picked this date.or maybe they did, and they were just dyslexic. At any rate, I haven't really started my xmas shopping yet, just in case. I still have that feeling that Facebook and life in general has sapped my blogging muse, but I guess I'll keep this around in case it ever comes back. January 4, 2013 at 12:36 AM. Hope you get your muse back! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Click Photos to Enlarge. Click this face to see more!

Albernheit: Halloween '12!
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2012/10/halloween-12.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). We went all out at work again.sort of. This was the most effort everyone was willing to expend. Still, it was fun. In other news, I got a free massage at work, and we had a party. I'm sad that biking season is pretty much over with. I had really been enjoying longer rides (something new for me) and being comfortable on my new bike. Hopefully next spring, it'll all come back to me quickly.like riding a bike. Albernheit: December 2011
http://albernheit.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The blog formerly known as Perky Potholders.). PS My Brother is Batman. Alert readers might recall the uncanny resemblance between Odie and Buzz Lightyear. There was a lot of evidence. Pointing to this dual identity. And you never, ever saw them together. Coincidence? Well, it turns out he's not really Buzz Lightyear after all. He's Batman. LOOK at his new ride! Also, it has a face! This is not a good sign. Here are the old ones. Thankfully, Amazon's got 'em with free shipping. This was one I made for a ...
