Thursday, November 13, 2014. SORTA FARM FRESH EGGS. My hubby's sister and her family moved into their new home this past spring and the family who owned the home they bought, had chickens. This family was not able to keep them, so my sister-in-law and her family adopted them. Cute little chicken enjoying the last of the sunlight as it dips down into the western horizon. The text message her husband sent says, "Lucy entered into heavenly rest at 5:45 pm We are thanking God for her wonderful life and the gift she was to so many. God is on the throne and we love you Jesus! I love this picture of Lucy (& her hubby). Thank you for sharing your heart of joy, life, and love with us. We will miss you dearly. Lucy loved Jesus. We have been waiting for the right wind speed to fly our kite, for quite some time. Our kite has also been waiting patiently in the trunk of our car for the past couple of years, just in case. Waiting and waiting. and waiting. I sometimes feel like that kite. Last evening we had the perfect wind! And we flew our kite! Or am I keeping my eyes on today, on the Lord? Have you not heard?
