Where before they had limitless potential, now they are exactly as we have labelled them, nothing more or less. For instance, the sky being blue, is it always the same stagnant version of blue? Can we really describe our atmosphere in all it's dynamic glory, every possible shifting hue and texture all encapsulated with the word blue? How did we go from trillions down to one?

This is because I have a child, and it seems to be a parent's moral obligation to teach the difference between the two. However, what is the difference, does such a distinction even exist? Can anyone say that they know what the distinction is? Right and wrong for me is bound to be different than what others around be think it is. Do I take a universal approach or a personal one?
