Even though I'd never met her, Agent Thorne's picture came to mind when I read. In school . . . Thorne. The Laestrogonian queen. She can walk into a room and you suddenly feel what you were going to say was very childish, so we all find ourselves very intent on our work. I think she goes back a long way with Fox - maybe that's where he learned it.

The director himself held a little dinner party where he issued a formal commendation for my work last November in the Johansson affair. So here I sit: alone, in my apartment. Now we've got the trouble of placement: what do you do with a kid who was hiding in the closet when? I think his father had a cousin somewhere in Texas. Maybe she would take him in.
